The influence of electrolyte composition on current distribution in the cell with liquid metal electrodes

An influence of the molten electrolyte composition on  the direct current distribution over the surface of liquid-metal anode and through the volume of the KCl-PbCl2 electrolyte in electrolyzer of a cylindric shape was investigated. A method of the electric field construction was used. A graphical dependence of the volume current density distribution was evaluated. A melt specific electrical conductivity was estimated.
