ABSTRACT:

A hydrodynamic situation and masstransfer in case of vertical plate electrodes, made of nickel, placed into an alkali carbonate melt with diffusion overvoltage and without it was studied. A linear dissipative structure in the form of the concentration distribution between cathode and anode appears during electrolysis in the electrochemical system.
