The results of imitating modeling of the  cathode deposit growth process in electrolyzer-refiner of coaxial symmetry were presented. The optimization of the initial cathode matrix sizes was carried out. A comparison of the data obtained by modeling and by the natural experiments on the example of the platinum deposition from molten salt was performed.
