Viscosity (η) of sodiumborate melts, containing 1 wt % of mechanically activated oxides of heavy lanthanides (Gd, Tb, Dy, Ho, Er, Tm, Yb, Lu), was measured by vibrating viscometer in a temperature range of 950–1650 K. The temperature and concentration dependences of the viscosity values as well as the initial temperature of the melts solidification were defined. The dependences of the viscosity logarithm on temperature feedback revealed high and low temperature ranges with different activation energy of viscous flow. It was revealed that the obained results were related to the structure of investigated melts.
