Thermal analysis usage for process modelling of aluminothermic zirconium reduction from oxide

ABSTRACT:

The result of process modeling of zirconium reduction from oxide using thermal analysis is congruent stable intermetallic compound Al3Zr formation. This process occurs through intermediate stage of zirconium monoxide formation.
