ABSTRACT:

Solubility of silver in the K-KCl melt with potassium metal content from 0 to 100 mol.% at 800°C was investigated. The solubility was shown to have a linear increase with the rise of the alkali metal concentration. It is equal to 4.3 wt% of Ag in the molten potassium.
