Self-diffusion coefficients of cadmium and indium in liquid state

The self-diffusion coefficients of liquid Cd and In near their melting temperatures is calculated by the Helfand–Davis–Palyvos method using the model square-well pair potential within the random phase approximation. A good agreement with available experimental data is obtained for both metals under consideration.
