Revisiting the duration of cooling of aluminum lead melt after its low frequency processing in order to obtain homogenous ingot

ABSTRACT:

A subject of necessary duration of cooling for the Al–Pb  molten system, processed by low frequent vibrations, until its crystallization and obtainment  of ingots has been considered. The cooling procedure was chosen in order to achieve a uniform distribution of lead particles along ingot. The calculations of the melts cooling time were proved by experiment.
