Analysis of geometric probabilistic models of electrocrystallization

Formation of 3D electrode deposit in potentiostatic conditions, including stages of nucleation, growth and overlap of growing clusters of new phase or their diffusion zones was considered. Models of electrochemical phase formation for kinetic and diffusion growth control were analyzed, the validity of used approximations was estimated. Possibility of using these models for analysis of process of silicon electrodeposition from molten salts was discussed.
