Thermodynamic modeling of the radioactive graphite oxidation in the melts Na2CO3–K2CO3–NiO and Na2CO3–K2CO3–CuO

ABSTRACT:

 The thermodynamic modeling of radioactive graphite oxidation in molten Na2CO3–K2CO3–NiO and Na2CO3–K2CO3–CuO at a temperature ranging from 373 to 3273 K were carried out. The behavior of radionuclides was studied.  The equilibrium constant of reactions was calculated.
