The stages of synthesis of solid solutions during mechanochemical formation of the pair solid–liquid metals

The processes of mechanochemical interaction of solid and liquid metals in the systems Ni–Bi, Cu–Sn, Fe–Sn and Ni–In are investigated by diffraction and electron microscopy methods. It is shown that mechanochemical formation of solid solutions in all cases goes through the stages of formation of sustainable intermetallic compounds.
