Polythermal investigation of carbohalogenation process of BaBr2KBr melt

ABSTRACT:

The purification process of the BaBr2-KBr (0.51:0.49) eutectic melt from the oxygen-containing admixtures (O2-) was studied in the temperature range of 943-1023 K using the carbohalogenation method. The process course was verified with the help of the potentiometry method employing the Pt(O2)ZrO2(Y2O3) membranous oxygen electrode.
