Toward the theory of thermo-physical properties for liquid non-transition metals

ABSTRACT:

The coefficients of self-diffusion, viscosity and interfacial tension of the liquid non-transition metals in the range of melting points were studied with the use of the modified solid spheres model. The results of the theoretical calculations of these coefficients were proved to be in a good agreement with the experimental data. A well-known Sutherland ratio between self-diffusion coefficients and viscosity as well as Born-Green ratio between viscosity and interfacial tension is valid in general.
