Study of the process results occurring in the Cu-Pb-Sn-Zn-O system in conditions of the molten metallic melt existence

ABSTRACT:

The experimental results of the formation process of oxide compounds in the system which includes metallic melt based on copper containing tin, lead, zinc, and oxygen were considered. Over the course of the thermodynamic calculations the cross-section of the phase diagram for the Cu-Sn-Pb-Zn-O system wasdrown up (in a shape of the surface cross-sections of the components solubility in the metal). These cross-sections can be used for analysis of the processes connected to the oxygen interaction with alloying and impurity elements of melts based on copper.
