Influence of mechanical alloying on the melting, molten state and subsequent solidification of the Fe–B–Si alloy

ABSTRACT:

Melting processes, melt viscosity and subsequent solidification of the Fe-B-Si alloys obtained by varying the duration of mechanical alloying have been investigated. It was shown that the different time of milling leads to temperature time differences in the behavior of the melt, due to its non-equilibrium micro heterogeneous state and appeared during the subsequent solidification.
