Equilibrium potentials of cadmium in the MCl-CdCl2 ( M-Li, Rb, Cs) melts were measured by the emf method depending on the temperature and cadmium chloride concentration. The empiric equations of cadmium equilibrium potentials isotherms and polytherms were formulated. The cadmium chloride activity coefficients and thermodynamic characteristics in the studied melts were calculated.
